Predisposition Levels to the Organizational Learning in Colombian Universities

Abstract

This article seeks to establish a diagnosis of the levels of predisposition to the organizational learning into the uni- versities as input for the innovation. Were made 49 questions that realizes from seven obstacles to the learning descri- bed by Kim (1993), whose logical denial converts them into factors of predisposition to the learning organizational, there being understood predisposition as the learning capacity of the universities to come out the obstacles to lear- ning of the model of Kim.

A descriptive analysis was carried in which were deducted the area (individual or colective) where they finding the highest and lower levels of predisposition to the learning organizational. In total there were gathered 300 surveys of public and privated universities of all the regions of Colombia. The highest predisposition to the learning is concerning to the role, that is to say, the individuals feel capable of learning for them themselves from each of the charges that were assigned to them, whereas the lowest levels of predisposition to the learning have to see with the disability to put the new knowledge into practice inside the organizations, and the disability to transform the mental models or paradigms of the organization.
