Abstract

The objective of this paper is to test if knowledge Management has some explanatory power regarding the efficacy of small and medium size firms. The results of a study with a sample of 78 Chilean firms suggest that: knowledge management is relevant to explain firms´ efficacy. Specifically, sharing and applying knowledge may be the most important knowledge management phases in terms of positively impacting organizational efficacy.
