Abstract

Family Bezcana SA, was a family-owned business group based in Argentina, which was engaged in farming and the manufacture and marketing of drip irrigation equipment. At the time the copmany was managed by the third generation who had an advanced age. Two members of the fourth generation, those involved in management, arose the need to restructure the organization and consequently change the way decisions were made. Additionally, although not stated explicitly, it faced with lack of succession planning and problem governing bodies.
