Abstract

The case presents the situation of Controladora Comercial Mexicana (CCM) and describes its expansion plans for 2011. CCM was in a poor credit situation resulting from bankruptcy in which it was immersed. It intends to illustrate the use of financial ratio analysis to determine whether it will be feasible expansion that aims to develop the company.
