Abstract

This case presents the situation of the company QSEG, created by Mr. Piña located in the city of Barranquilla - Colombia. The company went through different stages, starting with the production of industrial safety items, then Mr. Piña projected his business and decided to add more product lines and imported goods, distribution of consumer products from store to store and supplied chemical inputs for pest and vector control (factors) of contamination. Due to family problems involving infidelity, to failures in key administrative decisions, difficult macroeconomic conditions and health problems caused by the whole situation as a whole, the company loses dynamism and operational and commercial, leading to a situation of lack of financial liquidity that resulted in bankruptcy.
