What is the Impact From Entrepreneurship on the Income Inequalty in Chile?

Abstract

This article evaluates the impact from entrepreunership on the income inequality in Chile. We use data from Nueva Encuesta Suplementaria de Ingresos between 2011 and 2014. Our results show that impact varies according we use opportunity entrepreurneship versus formal entrepreunership activties. In particular, a formal entrepreuneshipg acti- vity explains the 3.18% of total income inequality, while opportunitiy entrepreunership explaians a 0.88%.
