Multidisciplinary Business Review (MBR) is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing business and management research. Founded in 2008 by the Chilean Association of Senior Managers in Business, Administration, and Enterprises (ASFAE), MBR serves as a platform for scholarly dialogue on business practices and managerial challenges affecting Latin American countries and beyond. The journal publishes high-quality research articles and case studies across all areas of business and management, prioritizing studies that examine the unique dynamics of Latin American economies, industries, and organizations. It also welcomes contributions that address broader global business topics, that may also be applicable to the Latin American context.

MBR aims to promote rigorous academic research on business and management, fostering discussions on the financial, organizational, and strategic challenges that may shape the Latin American region. It encourages comparative studies that explore Latin American business environments in a global context and supports interdisciplinary perspectives that integrate finance, technology, sustainability, and corporate governance. By publishing research that is both regionally relevant and globally significant, the journal seeks to contribute to the ongoing development of knowledge in the field.

As a biannual, open-access journal, MBR ensures that all published articles are freely available to scholars, professionals, and policymakers. The journal is indexed in SciELO, DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), ASCI (Asian Science Citation Index), REDIB, CrossRef, Latindex, AmeliCA, and Google Scholar, enhancing its visibility and accessibility within the academic community. Articles are published in Spanish or English, reflecting MBR’s commitment to fostering inclusive and diverse academic discourse.

Submissions to MBR must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Manuscripts should not exceed 8,000 words and must adhere to the journal’s formatting guidelines. All submissions undergo a preliminary editorial review to ensure they meet quality standards, including relevance, depth of analysis, and originality, before proceeding to a double-blind peer-review process. The journal does not charge article processing fees (APCs), ensuring equitable access to publication opportunities for researchers.

MBR upholds the principles of open-access publishing, guaranteeing that all accepted articles are immediately and permanently available for free. Authors interested in submitting their work can find detailed guidelines in the Submission section of the journal’s website.
